BHLDN Collaboration with Margo & Me

For those that do not know me, let me just say I am just a little bit obsessed with Anthropologie. Just a little. So you can imagine my giddiness when I see my very own photos appearing on their blog! I'll start from the beginning...

About a month ago a lovely and super fashion forward blogger, Jenny Bernheim of Margo & Me, approached me about photographing a fun collaboration with Anthropologie's bridal line, BHLDN. I was thrilled and immediately on board with the project!

Jenny put together three separate bridal looks featuring pieces of BHDLN's Fall 2014 line. It was an absolute dream working with Jenny and photographing multiple gowns from one of my favorite bridal shops.

Guest Post: Lauren of The Wild Ones

Hi Five Foot Seven readers! I’m super excited to be posting here today and feel extremely honored that Jenna would ask! I’m Lauren, the momma behind L & The Wild Ones. A blog mostly about life; my love for fashion, coffee, food, and of course my family.

So, about me, I’m a full time wife and mother and a part time RN. I love DIY projects and repurposing the old and unwanted. On a regular day here in our house you’ll find a lot of noise, mostly laughter, the smell of coffee and vanilla candles, and music turned up really loud. I usually go for Kings of Leon, but lately I’ve had Bridges by Broods on repeat.

A little more about what you’ll most likely find on my blog:
1. This year I decided to challenge myself to not buy anything (except necessary items like underthings, socks, pantyhose…) for a year. You’re probably thinking that that is a little insane, and for some people it might be, but for me shopping can be a way to fill a void of some sort, and I’m really trying to focus on having less and using what I already have more! 2. Outfit posts, which kind of ties in with my yearlong wardrobe challenge. I’m trying to wear what I have and I also figure out what I can get rid of and donate. 3.Food. You’ll find a lot of food. Particularly baked goods. I love pies, breads, cookies, cakes… you name it. I’ve got a bad sweet tooth, but I do try to make these tasty treats with a healthy twist, like substituting all-purpose flour with wheat flour.

4.     And last, but not least, I post about life in general. My husband and kids. My faith, struggles, goals, and adventures.

I hope you'll come check out my space and stick around for a while!

Guest Post: Jordan of Dragonfly Tales

Hey, Five Foot Seven lovers! I'm Jordan Inman & the voice behind the blog Dragonfly Tales. My blog focuses on four of my very favorite things--beauty, faith, style & fitness. I could talk for hours on each of these topics, so I unleash my enthusiasm for them in my blog posts!

{A little about myself}
I was born in Louisiana & raised in Oklahoma. I enjoy visits to larger cities (so far i've visited NYC, Boston, Kansas City, Charleston, Dallas, Myrtle Beach, Shreveport, Chicago, Cincinnati & Atlanta) but love coming home to the clean Oklahoma air & neighborly kindness.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May of 2013 with a bachelors emphasis in Communication.
I was brought up thrifting & learned the tricks of the trade (to dig) at a young age. Good style does not have to be expensive!

To relax, I enjoy watching beauty vlogs on Youtube, brainstorming blog post ideas or writing/playing music. I've been singing for most of my life! 2014 has been a year of healthier living. I've learned to cook clean this year & absolutely love it! I got engaged to the love of my life on December 27th of 2013 & we will be married October 4th of this year! My fiance Josh & i love to go on unplanned roadtrips. Our favorite thing to do is end up in a little town with eccentric stores & good food.

The most important goals I have for the future are being the best wife I can be, raising a large family (I hope to adopt!), continuing to live for the Lord, traveling for mission work with my husband-to-be, seeing Dragonfly Tales grow into an influential blog comparable to that of Lauren Conrad's (idol!), & buying an old building to turn into studio space for blogging & an upscale antique store/clothing boutique which offers sewing & art classes to young women/men.

I hope you all enjoyed!
Feel free to stop by Dragonfly Tales for a little more insight into my life.

Thank you SO much for guest posting for me today, Jordan. Head over to Jordan's amazing blog to see more about her life and adventures at Dragonfly Tales.

Guest Post: Megan of Pretty Wishes

Hey, five foot seven readers!
My name is Megan and I'm behind the blog pretty wishes.
My blog is a little bit lifestyle, a little bit crafty, and a whole lot fashion!
Today I'm going to tell you a few things about myself...

I love to blog about clothes.
Affordable clothes!
Besides the occasional designer handbag or designer shoe, you will find most of my clothing on clearance racks at stores like Forever21 and TJ Maxx or even thrift stores.
I try not to ever buy things at full price. I just don't see the point. Everything ALWAYS goes on sale, right?
Here are a few of my favorite outfits...

I also love to post DIYs.
I definitely do not consider myself artistic- I cannot draw a picture to save my life!
But give me some crafting supplies and I love to come up with pretty things to make.
I try to post projects that are cheap and easy.
I hate finding something adorable on pinterest and realizing that I have to break my wallet just to buy the supplies.
Or even worse, finding out that I have to have superior sewing skills!
Here are a few of my DIYs...

I also enjoy posting about just plain old me and the life I'm living.
Some things that you might learn about me are:

I am almost finished with beauty school!
The thought of New York City makes me weak at the knees.
I am obsessed with Gossip Girl and I just keep watching the whole series over and over again.
I love books about high school romance- and I am almost in my mid twenties!
And on that note- I have a baby face, most people think that I am under 18- I'm FINALLY getting to the age where I can actually appreciate that.
I try to eat healthy but I live for junk food- regular coke makes me genuinely happy.
I can not wait to be a stay at home mom.
I am so dang emotional- I cry at everything!
If I am in a bad mood, all that I have to do is look at my pinterest boards and I instantly feel giddy and inspired.
I truly wish that I could be a photographer and take amazing photos like Jenna, but dslr cameras confuse me so much!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
If you'd like to stop by my blog sometime, I would love to have you :)

Thanks so much for guest posting, Megan! Isn't she great, you guys? Head over to her blog right now to see more!
