sun valley, id part ll

DAY THREE:
on monday {labor day} the boys & girls split up and did what each of us are best at. the boys: fishing. the girls: shopping.

mark & john went down to silver creek with a guide and fished for 6 hours straight! wow. while ann & i went to a great little italian bistro {cristina's} for a light lunch. after some delicious food we hit the shops! i got a new pair of sunglasses & a couple cute items that ann bought for me. there are such great stores in sun valley with great sales, but unfortunately the items are STILL out of my price range. but looking was fun! after a couple hours of drooling over clothes that we couldn't afford, ann & i went back to the house & layed out in the shade with our books. we read, slept & ate some snacks until the boys got home. for dinner we had a yummy mexican dinner at despo's. {ann had street tacos again! i'm happy she's a fan} and i had my last diet coke for a while - time to get healthy! with full bellys, we grabbed some ice cream bars & headed home to watch a redbox and have a quiet night in. what a great day!

DAY FOUR:
our last day in sun valley was actually a bit more eventful than i had anticipated. we spent the morning chit chatting then packed up our car & went out for one last afternoon on the town. we had lunch at an amazing sandwich spot, mark found practically new golf clubs at the best thrift shop in town {the gold mine} & i got to stroll through the farmer's market!

our vacation ended much too soon, in our opinion, but it was time to get back to our real lives of working & a normal schedule in provo. why can't vacations last forever??? we can't wait to go back to sun valley next year!! thanks john & ann!
