recipes {peanut butter pretzel bites}

for those of you who love peanut butter, chocolate & a salty bite, these little treats will be calling your name. not only are they the perfect bite, but they are rich enough that you probably won't be able to eat more than two in a sitting, if you're lucky. {this is good news for me because if there are sweets around i will just keep picking at them until suddenly they are all gone. but not with these little guys!}

Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites

what you'll need:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons soften butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 bag of pretzels
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

combine soften butter & peanut butter in a bowl fitted with the paddle attachment. mix until full incorporated.

 then add the powdered sugar & brown sugar.

beat until the mixture is combined & easily forms a ball. if mixture is too wet or sticky just add a bit more powdered sugar.

next, form small little balls & then place in between two preztels & lightly press together. place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper & freeze for 30 minutes.

melt the chocolate chips in microwave or in a bowl over a simmering pot of water. once chocolate is fully melted, dip the sides of each pretzel bite into the chocolate.

place on the parchment paper. chill in the fridge or freezer until the chocolate is set.
 & enjoy!!

not only are these simple to make, but they are festive enough to give out to friends & family as a little gift or even serve at a holiday party.
